FAQ

Ordering & eligibility

Who can order from Virgo Pep Labs?

Our catalogue is available to qualified researchers, licensed practitioners, and institutional buyers who are 19 years of age or older. Everything we sell is supplied strictly for in-vitro laboratory research. By entering the site you confirm you meet these conditions.

Do you provide dosing or protocol guidance?

No — and you should be cautious of any supplier who does. We publish handling references: reconstitution maths, storage windows, and how to interpret an assay. How you design your research is your responsibility.

Do you ship outside Canada?

No. We ship within Canada only. This keeps every order inside a single regulatory framework and lets us guarantee transit times. Orders with a non-Canadian shipping address will not be processed.

Can I order by phone?

Orders are placed through the site. For bulk, institutional, or purchase-order arrangements, email canpep32@gmail.com and we will set it up directly.

Quality & testing

What does “third-party tested” actually mean here?

Samples are sent to an independent accredited laboratory — not tested in-house and labelled as independent. Each production lot is assayed before release, and the result is published against its batch number.

How do I check the certificate for the vial I received?

Every vial carries a batch number on its label. Enter it on our COA lookup page to pull the certificate for that specific lot. If your batch isn’t listed, contact us before using the product.

What happens if a lot fails specification?

It is destroyed and the batch number is retired. We do not re-test into compliance, downgrade the stated purity, or discount failed material. This is the single most useful question to ask any supplier.

Can I get a certificate before I order?

Yes. Email us the compound you’re interested in and we will send the current certificate for the lot in stock.

Shipping

How fast do orders ship?

Orders placed before 2 pm ET ship the same business day from within Canada. Transit is typically 1–3 business days depending on destination.

What does shipping cost?

Flat rate $20 CAD anywhere in Canada. Free on orders over $150 CAD.

How is it packaged?

Plain, unbranded outer packaging with no indication of contents. Temperature-sensitive items ship in an insulated mailer with a cold pack.

My package hasn’t arrived. What now?

If tracking shows no movement for 10 business days, email us and we will reship or refund in full. See our returns and refunds page for the full terms.

Handling & storage

How should I store unopened vials?

Lyophilised vials are stable refrigerated at 2–8 °C, protected from light. Avoid repeated temperature cycling.

How long does a vial last once reconstituted?

Refrigerate at 2–8 °C after reconstitution. Published protocols typically work within a 28-day window, though this varies by compound. Our reconstitution calculator handles the concentration and syringe conversions.

My vial arrived warm. Is it ruined?

Lyophilised powder is considerably more robust than reconstituted solution and brief transit warmth is usually not an issue. If the cold pack has fully thawed and the powder looks changed — clumped, discoloured, or partially melted — photograph it and contact us.

Payment

What payment methods do you accept?

Interac e-Transfer. Send to canpep32@gmail.com with your order number in the message field; your order ships once payment lands, usually within a few hours.

What currency are prices in?

All prices are Canadian dollars.
